PROFILE

            Higher education is imperative to women in order to empower them to be self reliant and take their rightful place in all walks of life. Women have to undergo formal education to equip themselves suitably with the skills required to take the challenges of the competitive world.

            Recognising this need, the management of  SCCL, established a Women’s College at Kothagudem in, as early as 1975, coinciding with the International year for women. This was a golden opportunity not only to the daughters of employees of SCCL,but also to the general public at large.

            This great institution has lived up to the expectations of the founders in education the women through its 28 years of existence. Today the college occupies an important place among the institutions of its kind not only at Kakatiya university but in the entire State.

            The College has a consistant record of  academic achievement with its students winning University ranks and distinctions.  The achievements are made possible with meticulous academic planning, effective tutorial system, monthly tests, regular monitoring, issue of progress cards and conducting parents meeting etc.,
