Quiz Programmes for SCCL Employees:

            Sri Sriram Taranikanti, IAS, Director (PA &W) made the suggestion to the staff and students to organise quiz programmes to SCCL executives and staff. Accordingly students of S C Women's Degree College organised three Quiz programmes for SCCL employees during the academic year 2004 -05

1.      First Quiz programme was organised on Engineers day i.e., on 15^th Sept 04.17 SCCL executives appeared for the preliminary test. 8 candidates were selected for the final round. Sri K N Sekhar, Manager (Forestry) & Sri Md Ziauddin, SE (E&M), Corp. Plg were the winners. Sri J Ravi Shankar, EE Civil & Sri K V R Krishna Rao, EE, O/o Dir (E&M) were the runners-up.

2.      Second Quiz programme titled "Know your India" was organised on 6^th Nov 04. 21 members participated in the preliminary test. 8 candidates were selected for the final round. Sri J Ravi Shankar, EE Civil & Sri P Saidi Reddy, Under Manager (Forestry) were the winners Sri K N Sekhar, Manager (Forestry) & Sri M Z Rehman, Dy PM (Vigilance) were the runners-up.

3.      Third Quiz programmed titled "Our Universe" was organised on 6^th Jan 05. 24 entries were received for the preliminary test. 8 candidates were selected for the final round. Sri Pankaj Kulshreshtha, Dy Supt. Geologist & Sri S Hari Narayana, Dy SE CSW were the winners. Sri N Vijaya Bhaskar Rao, Sr Scientific Officer (CWS) & Sri K N Sekhar, Manager (Forestry) were the runners-up.

   All the three programmes were well appreciated by the participants

            Kum SVN Hima Bindu II Biotech, Kum B Srividya III MBC conducted the quiz programmes under the supervision of Smt G Ratna Kumari, Lec in Chemistry, Dr V V Ramana, Lec in Botany and Ms B T Rama Devi, Lec in Lib. Science.
