RULES OF ADMISSION:

 

1.   Candidates who have passed Intermediate Examination or any other Examination recognised by the Kakatiya University as its equiva­lent whether in one attempt or in parts are eligible to seek admis­sion into Degree Class.

2.    Candidates who have obtained 40% marks in the Intermediate (Sciences) Examination are eligible for admission to the first year, B.Sc. class in the relevant Combination.

3.    Candidates who have passed intermediate Examination with Com­merce and also other optionals are eligible for admission to first year B.Com.

       Admissions are made on merit basis.

5.    The Candidates who have passed 1 completed degree in one Fac­ulty are not eligible to seek admission into another faculty.

6.    a) The Candidates discontinued in 1 Year by putting in less than 50% of attendance may be permitted to apply for admission into 1 Year degree course again as fresh applicants and the. admission should be as per the rules of admission into 1 Year Degree Courses. In such cases the T.C. obtained in 1 year Degree Course may also be accepted and T.C. of Intermediate will not be insisted -upon.

       b) Candidates who do not have the requite percentage of atten­dance in 1 Year are not allowed to appear for the University examination may join the 1 Year class again as casual students, only to complete the shortage of attendance to become eligible to appear for the Examination. Such admission will be treated as supernumerary (over and above the ceiling) and the candidates shall not be entitled to any privileges accurable to regular students. Such students have to pay one term tution fee and also laboratory fee in addition to tution fee in respect of B.Sc. The same rule is also applicable to II and III year students.

7.    The Candidates seeking transfer of admission within the jurisdiction of Kakatiya University or from other Universities have to obtain pre­scribed printed application forms from the Publication Cell, Kakatiya University for the purpose by paying requisite cost through “C” Challan/D.D. Cyclostyled/Xeroxed forms will not be accepted. The particulars of forms, cost, fee in this regard are as follows.

 

       a)   Cost of application form for transfer of admission within the jurisdic­tion of Kakatiya University Rs. 20/- each.

       b) Cost of application form for transfer of admission from other univer­sities to Kakatiya University. Rs.20/- each.

       c)   Fee for transfer of admission within the jurisdiction of K.U. Rs.125/- each.

       d) Fee for transfer of admission from other universities to KU. Rs.200/each.

 

GENERAL

1.    Application should be in the prescribed application form which can be obtained from the College Office on payment of its cost.

2.    Application duly filled must be registered on payment of the free prescribed and submitted to the College on or before the specified date, and applications incomplete in any detail will be rejected.

3.    Along with the application are to be submitted Photo­stat copies of :-

       1) Marks Memorandum.

       2) Conduct Certificate.

       3) Transfer Certificate.

       4) Study Certificate.

       5) Migration Certificate in case of students from other Universities.

       6) Caste Certificate in case of ST/SC/BC/Physically handicapped.

       7) Service Certificate in case of Employee’s Children.

NOTE:- At the time of admission original Marks memo and TC will be taken and kept in the college during the I year of admission.

       The Candidate’s are advised to take sufficient number of Photo­stat copies before they submit the original marks memo.

4.    The selected Candidates should pay the prescribed fee and submit all original certificates before the due date.

5.    Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Class seats are reserved according to the rules of reservation.

6. At any time any candidate who is found to have obtained admission by producing false certificates will not only be dismissed at once, but she forfeits all the fee she has paid to the college.

7.    After the finalisation of an admission, the fee paid by the students will not be refunded whether she attends the classes or not.

8.    If, for any reason a candidate’s name is struck off the rolls she will have to pay re-admission fee should she wish to continue.

9.    Change of Group, Medium and Second Language will not be con­sidered after 28th Aug. 2003
